Front gear case oil check
1� Place the vehicle on a level surface�
2� Remove the oil ller bolt

and check the oil level� The level
should be up to the brim of the hole. If the level is low, add
sucient oil to raise it to the specied level.
3� Install the oil ller bolt and tighten it to the specied torque.
NOTE: Oil ller bolt tightening torque: 25 N•m (18.4 ft-lb.)
Front gear case oil change
1� Place the vehicle on a level surface�
2� Place a container under the front gear case to catch the oil�
3� Remove oil ller bolt

and drain bolt

as shown, and drain
used oil�
4� Install the drain bolt and tighten it to the specied torque.
5� Fill the front gear case with oil�
6� Install the ller bolt and tighten it to the specied torque.
7� Check for oil leaks. If oil leakage is found, nd and repair it.
NOTE:
Drain bolt torque: 25 N•m (18.4 ft-lb.)
Periodic oil change: 230 ml (7�7 oz�)
NOTE: Be sure no foreign material enters the gear case�
