(-5B, -7B) :
Inspection of DAC dome area.
The following areas of the combustion chamber also
need to be inspected:
- Fuel nozzle tips.
- Fuel nozzle stems outside the combustor dome.
- Spectacle plate and inner and outer deectors.
- Inner and outer liners.
- Centerbodies.
- Dome area, which includes all of the above
components.
A thermal barrier coating is applied to the deectors and
spectacle plate.
