4. Cooling System
Check and Maintenance
Checking coolant density
Note:
Open the radiator cap after coolant is fully cooled.
Remove:
--Front top cover (2-4)
--Radiator cap (counter clockwise).
Check with a densimeter if the coolant density adapts to
the local temperature.
Check coolant for stains or impurities.
Inspection of radiator cap
Note
Open the radiator cap after the coolant is fully cooled.
Remove:
--Front top cover (2-4)
--Radiator cap (4-3).
Note
Apply coolant on the sealing surface of radiator cap
before attaching the tester to the radiator cap.
Install the radiator cap tester to the radiator cap;
Apply the specified pressure (radiator cap opening
pressure) for 6 seconds and make sure that there is drop in
pressure.
Opening pressure of radiator cap:
108kpa(1.1kgf/cm
