3.8 Audio Input
Audio input can be used on QuickQ consoles for simple sound to light control, setting the BPM of chases in time
with music. Audio can be input to the console via the 3.5mm jack socket on the rear labelled “Audio In”.
To enable sound to light for a chase, enter the desired cue stack window either by holding or double tapping on
the corresponding playback legend. From here, access the chase options via the menu button (top right of the
display).
In this options window you can enable sound to light for this chase. You can also set the “Energy” option to look
for specific audio frequencies. It this option is left as Energy, it will use the entire frequency spectrum.
