Why won't the burner light with the ignitor on my Char-Broil Grill?

If the burner(s) on your Char-Broil Grill won't light using the ignitor, here are some things to check: Make sure the valves are correctly positioned inside the burner tubes. Ensure the burner tubes aren't blocked by spider webs or other debris. Also, verify that your LP cylinder isn't empty. If not empty, there may be an issue with gas flow. Try turning off the knobs, disconnecting the coupling nut from the LP cylinder, and then reconnecting it. You might also need to tighten the coupling nut a bit more (hand-tighten only). Inspect the electrode, ensuring its tip points towards the gas port opening on the burner at a distance of 1/8” to 1/4” or 1/8” to 3/16” and adjust if needed.
