Also, make sure the tip of the electrode is correctly positioned, pointing towards the gas port opening on the burner, with a distance of about 1/8” to 1/4”. If the wire or electrode is covered with cooking residue, clean it using rubbing alcohol and a clean swab. Check the wires; if they are loose or disconnected, reconnect them or replace the electrode/wire assembly. If the wires are shorting, replace the ignitor wire/electrode assembly. Ensure that burner tubes are not obstructed with spider webs or other matter.
