Why is there a sudden drop in gas flow or low flame on my Char-Broil Grill?
    • M
      Michelle JohnsonAug 16, 2025
A sudden drop in gas flow or low flame in your Char-Broil Grill could be due to: * Being out of gas: Check the gas level in the LP cylinder. * The excess flow valve on the regulator tripped: Turn off the control knob, wait 30 seconds, and then light the appliance. If the flames remain low, turn off the knob and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the regulator, reconnect it, and perform a leak test. Then, turn on the LP cylinder valve, wait 30 seconds, and light the appliance. * Vapor lock at the coupling nut/LP cylinder connection: Turn off the knob and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the coupling nut from the cylinder, reconnect it, and try again.
