1.
Completely
deflate
tire
by
removing
valve
core.
2.
Support
wh

keep
tire
off
the
floor.
3.
Loosen
the
tir
e
bead
from
it
s
seat
in
the
rim
by
driving
th
e flat
end
of
the
tire
ir
on
between
the
b
ea
d
and
the
rim.
Hold
the
iron
down
on
the
side
wall
to
avoid
cutting
the
bead,
and
make
sure
the
iron
is
dri
ven
in
until
it
strikes
the
rim.
Apply
do
wnward
pressure
on
the
tir
e
iron
to
f
orce
the
b
ead
away
from
the
retaining
ring.
Continue
around
the
ti
re
until
it
is
l.
oosened
all
the
way
around
and
the
retaining
ring
can
be
moved
fr
om
its
support
on
the
gu
tter
diameter
and
into
the
gutter
well.
4.
I
nsert
curved
end
of
tire
iron
in
the
square
notch
in
the
retaining
ring
and
pry
out
and
up
while
hold-
ing
the
ring
down
into
th
e
gutter
at
the
opposite
side
(flg. 63).
Continue
th
is
ope
r
ation
until
the
cutaway
por-
tion
of
the
retaining
ring
nearest
the
tire
iron
spans
the
outside
diameter
of
the
rim
gutter.
5.
Continue
to
pry
the
remaind
er
of
this
ha
lf
of
the
retaining
ring
from
the
gutter

ng
progres-
sively

other
cutaway
portion
in
the
ring.

Turn
the
whee

over
and

it
on
the
blocks

ith
the
ring
side
down;
then
force
tire
from
wheel
rim.
Remove
tire
flap
and
tube
from
tire.

Remove
all
rust
scale
from
the
rim
and
retainer
ring.
2.
I
nsert
tube
in
tire
and
inflate
until
tube
is
nearly
rounded
out.
