If
the
new
fuse
burns
out,
the
cir
cuit
is
probably
shorted.
If
tracing
the
wires
a
nd
checking
for
short
circuits
does
not
reveal
the
trouble
the
se
r
vices
of
a
Chevrolet
dea
ler s
hould
be
solicited.

This
would
indicate
a
burned
out
filament
in
the
in
dividua
l
light
or
possibly
a loose
connection
in
the w
ir-
in
g.
The
si
mples

way
to
ch
eck
this
is to
install
a
new
bu
lb
or
S
ea
led
Beam
unit
as
the
case
may
be (
see
Lamps).
If
this
d
oes
not
correct
the
t
ro
uble
the
light
circui
t
must
be
checked.

Thi
s
condition
is
usually
caused
by
loose
connec
ti
ons
in
the
individual
light
circuit
or
poo
r
ground
connection
between
the
Ught
and
the
chassis
fr
ame.
Make
sure
all
light
connections
are
clean
and
tight.
Make
sure
the
ground
~onnections
are
not
corroded
or
rusted
and
that
they
are
all
tight.
GENERAL
Unable
to
Unlock
Door.
Wat
er
may
get
into
the
door
lock
s
as
a
re
s
ult
of
storms
or
having
the
vehicle
washed
with
a
power
washer.
In
freezing
weather
th
is
may
freeze
the
lock
cy
lind
er
so
that
it
cannot
be
unlocked.
If
the
tr
uck
cannot
be
taken
to
a
warm
garage
to
thaw
out
and
dry
the
l
ock,
it
is
generally
pos-
sible
to
heat
the
key
with
a
match
and
insert
it
in
the
lock.
Aft
er
repeating
this
a few
times
the
lock
will
absorb
enoug
h
heat
to
thaw
out
and
unlock.
If
this
trouble
is
experienced
th
e
l
ock
should
be
remo
ved,
dried
and
lubricated.
Hy
dr
ovac
Fails
to
Operate.
H
ydrovac
failure
doe

not

normal
use

the
hydraulic
brakes
unless
the
brake
fluid

eaks
out
of
the
syste
m.
Should
the
h
yd
rovac fail to oper
ate,
check
for
air
leaks
betwee
n
the
manifo
ld
and
the
hydrovac
unit.
If
there
are
no
vacuum
l
eaks
you
s
hould
contact
a
Chevro-
let
dealer
.
Engine
Runs
but
Vehicle
Will
Not
Move.
This
may
be
caused
by
broken
ax
le
shaft,
stripped
ring
or
pinion
gear
,
broken
uni-
versa
l
joint,
broken
prop
e
ller
shaft,
transmission
trouble
or
clutch
trouble.
With
all
mode
ls
except
th
e
'-h
-
ton
it
is possible
to
place
th
e
transmission
in
gear,
run
the
engine
and
inspect
the
drive
line
for
location
of
trouble.
If
the
drive
shaft
does
not
turn
the
trou
bl
e is
in
the
transmission
or
clutch,
wh
ile
if
the
shaft
turns
