the
clamp
ring
by
prying
it
out
of
the
gutter
with
the
tire
iron, moving
progress

around
the
rim

Drive
the
curved
end
of
the
tire
iron in
between
the
side
ring
and
the
entire
bead
(fig. 68).
Then
pry
down
on
the
opposite
end
of
tire
iron to move
the
tire
bead
away
fr
om
the
side
ring
flange (fig. 69).
Continue
th
e foregoing
operation
progressively
arou
nd
the
tire
un
til
the
side
rin
g is removed.
In
some
cases
it
may
be
necessary
to
work
around
the
tire
a
couple
of
time
s.
NOTE: The
tire
bead
seat
on
the
s
ide
rin&,
is s
li
, hUy tapered; this
design
mak
es
renloval
of
the
ring
much
easier.

Push
the
valve
stem
up
inside
the
tire
to
prevent
d
amage
while
reĀ·
moving
the
tire.

tire
may
be

moved
from
the
rim
by
