immediately to the rear of the tran smissi on is the bushed
trunnion bea ring type a nd receives its lubrication from the
transm ission.

lub rication at this point is unnecessary. Th e

The intermediate and rear universal joints are th e needle
bearing type equipped w ith lubrication fi ttings, and shoul d be
l ubrica t ed with the same type of lubricant u se d in the trans-
mission.

of lubri cants-s uch as chassis lubricant, fibrous univ ersa l joint
lubricant s, e lc.-be u~.
The prope ller shaft slip joint, located to the rear of the in-
termediate univer sa l joint is also equ ipped wi th a lubri cation
fitting
and sho uid be l ub ricat ed with chassis lubricant.
