Information panel overview
The information panel provides comprehensive LEDs, which display the status
of the Gigabit Ethernet switch module and the network (see “LEDs” on page
11) and external connections for the Gigabit Ethernet switch module. The
following illustration shows the information panel of the Gigabit Ethernet
switch module.

2. An amber LED is lit when a system error or event has occurred. To identify
the error or event, check the LEDs on the information panel of the Gigabit
Ethernet switch module. For additional information, see Chapter 8, “Solving
