Port 4/1 on Switch 2 changes from blocking mode to forwarding mode once the port-type inconsistency
is resolved (see Figure 11-6). (This assumes that there is no wiring loop present that would cause the
port to be blocked normally by spanning tree. In either case, the port state would change from
“type-pvid-inconsistent” to “blocking” in the show spantree output.)
