Spare parts
Use CLAAS original parts and the corresponding spe-
cial tools.
For any spare parts orders or technical requests, indi-
cate the machine serial number and, if applicable, the
equipment serial number. This measure is necessary
to prevent incorrect spare parts deliveries.
Use only CLAAS original spare parts, accessories and
tools that have been inspected and approved by
CLAAS. Only these measures can ensure that the
properties defined in the design of CLAAS harvesting
machines, as well as their operating capacity, are
maintained. CLAAS original parts also maintain active
and / or passive driving safety, as well as machinery
working safety.

resulting from the use of parts, accessories and equip-

Gearboxes
When dismounting the gearboxes, always drain the
transmission oil first and then remove the gearbox.
Separate parts sticking firmly together with a soft
metal-tip or plastic-tip hammer.

Tensioning the steel roller chains
The steel roller chains are correctly tensed when you
can push down the slack section with your thumb by
around 2% of its length (gear interaxial distance), while
the tense strand is under low stress. Verify the tension
on new chains more often.
