      Alyssa WongJul 30, 2025
If your Clarion Car Receiver isn't powering on and there's no sound, it could be due to a blown fuse. Replace the fuse with one of the same amperage. If it blows again, it may also be due to incorrect wiring, consult your store of purchase.

If the sound from your Clarion Car Receiver skips or is noisy, the compact disc might be dirty. Clean it gently with a soft cloth. Alternatively, the compact disc could be heavily scratched or warped, in which case you should replace it with a compact disc that is not scratched.

If nothing happens when you press the buttons and the display on your Clarion Car Receiver isn't accurate, the microprocessor may have malfunctioned. Turn off the power, then press the [RELEASE] button and remove the DCP. Press the reset button for about 2 seconds with a thin rod. Also, the DCP or main unit connectors could be dirty. Wipe them off with a soft cloth moistened with cleaning alcohol.

      Jeanette DoughertyAug 21, 2025
