After making these settings, remove the disc
and then reinsert it.

When a mixed mode CD is loaded and CD
is
set, the track to be played first is MP3 file data
and no sound
is
heard.

Types of recording that can be played are as
follows.
1.
Press the OPEN button [I] to open the
FLI
P
DOWN PANEL.
2.
I
nsert
a
disc
into the
insertion
slot. The
indication "FILE READ" appears
in
the title
display. If the inserted disc is
an
MP3 disc,
the indication "MP3 PLAY" appears and the
disc starts playing.
Notes:
Only CDs
and
CD-ROMs having the
[Q]O~@
mark
can be used in this unit.
DIGITALAUDID
Discs
recorded
with
CD-R
or
CD-RW
may
sometimes be unusable with this unit.

single
CDs
* Do not use
an
adapter when playing 3" single
CDs.
Disc-In-Play
function
As long as the ignition key is turned to the ON or
ACC position, this function allows you to turn the
power to the unit and start playing the disc
automatically when the disc is inserted even if
the power is not turned on.
Do
not
try
to
put
your
hand
or
fingers
in
the
disc
insertion
slot.
Also
never
insert
foreign
objects
into
the
slot.
Do
not
insert
discs
where adhesive comes
out
from
cellophane
tape
or
a
rental
CD
label,
or
discs
with
marks
where cellophane
tape
or
rental CD labels were removed. It
may be
impossible
to
extract
these
discs
from
the
unit
and
they
may cause
the
unit
to
break
down.
Note:
If
a disc cannot be inserted into the disc insertion
slotsmoothly, there is anotherdisc alreadyloaded
or
the unit
may
need repairing.

(However, the maximum number of folders
must
be
within 150.) When the number of files
and folders
is
more than 256, playing of tracks
in
excess of that number is impossible.

Tracks are played

the order that they were
recorded onto a disc. (Tracks might not always

played

of encoder software used while recording.

Some
tips
concerning
making
MP3
folders
MP3 folder can
be
made at hierarchical level 1
to 8 but making a folder as shown below will make
it easy to manage tracks you recorded.

When a disc contains both ordinary CD type
tracks and MP3 type tracks mixedly, you can
select which type of the recorded tracks to
play.
Default value is
"CD".
Each time you press and hold the BND button
[!Q]
for
about
1 second,
the
mixed mode is
switched between CD type or MP3 type. The
following indication appears
in
the title display
when switching the track type to
be
played.
