Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save
it for future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any

Safety
• This speaker can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of theappliance
in asafe way and if they understand thehazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and
supervised. Keep thespeaker and its charger lead out of reach of children
under theage of 8.
• Thespeaker may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their
safety, provided they have been instructed in thesafe use of theproduct and
understand thehazards involved. Never let children play with thespeaker.
• Thespeaker should not be taken apart or modified. Never try to open
thecasing of thespeaker. Certain uninsulated components inside the housing
carry dangerous voltages. Contact with these can lead to fire or electricshock.
• Do not cover thespeaker. Adequate ventilation, with adistance of at least
5cm between thespeaker and surrounding surfaces, is necessary to prevent
thespeaker from overheating.
• Place thespeaker on astable, flat surface.
• Do not place thespeaker where it could fall into water or other liquids.
• Do not place thespeaker in constant sunlight or near naked flames such as
wood stoves, lit candles, etc.
• Never subject thespeaker to high temperatures, damp or dusty environments,
heavy vibrations or impacts.
• Protect your hearing. Listening on high volume for prolonged periods can lead
to permanent hearing loss.
• Thespeaker must only be repaired by qualified service technicians.
Product description
Charging
1. Connect theincluded charger lead to theUSB charging port (6) on thespeaker
and to acomputer or other USB charger.
2. TheLED indicator (5) will shine red while thebattery is charging and go out
when thebattery is fully charged.
3. Anlow-battery signal will sound whenever thebattery starts gettinglow.
Bluetooth connection
1. Press and hold [ ] until thespeaker emits anaudio signal. TheLED indicator (5)
will begin flashingblue.
2. Activate Bluetooth on thedevice to be paired with thespeaker.
3. Thespeaker will appear as BS1, Select it and pair it to your device.
Thespeaker will play avoice message and themode indicator will change to
asteady blue light to indicate that thedevice has been paired.
4. Start playback on theBluetooth device. Thevolume level and track can be
changed on either thespeaker or on your external device. Otherplayback
settings can be controlled from theexternal device.
Connecting adevice via the3.5mm aux-in socket
1. Switch thespeaker on by holding in [ ] until thespeaker emits anaudible signal.
2. Connect a3.5 mm audio cable between your device and theaux input (7) on
thespeaker.
3. Start playback on theexternal device.
4. Adjust thevolume level on thespeaker or theexternal device.
Note: Thetrack can be changed using thebuttons on thespeaker or by pressing
[ l◄ ] once theexternal device is connected via the3.5mm socket.
Care and maintenance
• Thespeaker has anIPX5 rating (dust and water jet proof) which means that it
can be subjected to water jets from all angles. Itis therefore suitable for use
in therain and very wet or humid conditions. Thespeaker is however, not
completely waterproof and should not be immersed in water or other liquid.
• Clean thespeaker using alightly moistenedcloth. Useonly mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• If thespeaker is not to be used for along time, thebattery should be fully
charged on aregular basis (every second month) to prolong its capacity.

• Make sure that no other wireless devices are
disrupting thecurrent Bluetooth connection.
No sound from
theexternal device
connected via the3.5
mm connection
(AUX).
• Check for sufficient volume level on theconnected
device and thespeaker. Checktheplay/pause
button on theconnected device.
• Check that thecable connecting thedevice and
thespeaker is undamaged and securely connected.
• Test theplayback of thefile on thedevice itself
before connecting it to thespeaker.
• Try using anotherfile. Thefile may be incompatible
or damaged.
