Sleep timer
The sleep timer function allows you to set the radio to switch itself
off automatically after a set period.
1. With the radio on, hold [ MENU / INFO ] until the menu appears.
2. Press [ ] or [ ] and select “System”. Confirm by pressing
[ SCAN / SELECT ].
3. Press [ ] or [ ] and select “Sleep”. Confirm by pressing
[ SCAN / SELECT ].
4. Press [ ] or [ ] to select the time. Confirm by pressing
[ SCAN / SELECT ]. Choose from: 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 or 90
minutes or OFF.
The display will show the remaining time before the radio switches off.
Alarm
Setting the alarm
Press [ ] or [ ] to scroll through the menu/change the value and
then press [ SCAN / SELECT ] to select the menu/function.
1. With the radio on, hold [ MENU / INFO ] until the menu appears.
2. Select “System” and then “Alarms”.
3. Select an alarm to set, either “Alarm 1” or “Alarm 2”.
4. Activate the alarm by selecting “Alarm 1/2 ON”.
5. Choose the following settings in this order:
- Alarm time: Hours and minutes.
- Alarm sound: Buzzer (signal), DAB or FM (If you select
DAB or FM radio, we recommend you also select a
radio station).
- Choose when you want the alarm to sound: Daily,
Weekends, Workdays or Once.
- Alarm volume: The alarm signal starts quietly and gradually
increases in volume until it reaches the set level.
- Alarm duration: 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120seconds.
