Removing the SSD Module
1. Turn off the computer, remove the battery (page 2 - 5), and component bay cover (page 2 - 7).
2. Locate the module, it is visible at point
(Figure 11a).
3. Carefully remove the screw from the module
(Figure 11b).
4. The module will pop-up
(Figure 11c).
5. Lift the module up and off the computer
(Figure 11c).

Thermal Pad
Be sure to place the thermal pad’s adhesive side down onto the
mainboard surface.
The thermal pad‘s thickness differ for different M.2 SSD module:
For module with chip, use a 4.0mm thick thermal pad.
For module without chip, use a 5.0mm thick thermal pad.
