Why doesn't my Club Car Utility Vehicle engine start easily?
- FfranklintimothyAug 19, 2025
If the engine of your Club Car Utility Vehicle doesn't start easily, it might be due to several reasons. The spark plug could be partially fouled or in poor condition, or the spark plug wire could be damaged or loose. There might be a loose wire connection at the ignition coil or RPM limiter, or intermittent ignition coil failure. Low cylinder compression, water or dirt in the fuel system and/or carburetor, a dirty or clogged fuel filter, or an improperly adjusted carburetor could also be the cause. Lastly, check if the starter/generator belt is slipping.
