• Put the material to be chipped into the hopper(5)
from the left side. Because the blades run to the
right, the material will be pulled in automatically.
Hold the material fast until it is pulled in automat-
ically.
• Only feed in so much material that the hopper
does not get stopped up.
• Alternate chipping branches and garden waste
that has been stored for a few days and is there-
fore withered and damp. This prevents blocking
of the blades.
• Do not put soft waste such as kitchen waste into
the chipper; compost it instead.
• Large branches with leaves must first be
chipped completely before any other material is
fed in.
• Smaller objects and soft material such as leaves
can be fed into the chipper better with the help
of the included pusher(4).
• If you cut heavy material or branches without
interruption, this may block the blades. Pull out
the material by hand a little to counteract this
problem.
• If the chipper begins to vibrate strongly, the
blades are damaged or worn out. Replace the
blades if necessary.
• Only switch the device off when all material to be
chipped has fallen through the chipper. Other-
wise, the chipper can get blocked when you
switch it on again.
