8.1 TIMER0 General
TIMER0 is composed of the following functions:
▪ 8-bit timer/counter register (TMR0);
▪ 8-bit pre-scaler (shared with watchdog timer);
▪ Programmable internal or external clock source;
▪ Programmable external clock edge selection;
▪ overflow interrupt.
