4.3 Starting and stopping
• NOTE: Startthemower only when your hands and feet are asafe distance from therotating blade.
• NOTE: Theblade will continue to rotate ashort while after themotor has been turned off. Always let
themotor/blade come to acomplete stop before starting themotor again.
Start
1. Insert thesafety key (15).
2. Press and hold thesafety button (6) and then clasp thecontrol lever (7) against thehandle.
Note: Therewill be slight delay before themotor actually starts. Oncethemotor starts you may then begin using
themower.
Stop
1. Release thecontrol lever (7) to completely to stop themotor and blade. Alwayslet themotor/blade come to
acomplete stop before starting themotor again.
2. Remove thesafety key (15) when you have finished mowing.
4.4 Setting the cutting height
• Adjust cutting height in relation to grass height. Startwith ahigh cutting height and adjust accordingly for
thebest results. NOTE: Alwaysturn off themower and let therotating blade come to acomplete stop
before adjusting thecutting height.
• There are 5 cutting height settings: 1 = 30 mm (short grass length) to 5 = 65 mm (higher grass length).
• Adjust cutting height by pushing theheight lever (12) inwards towards thebattery until it releases. Adjustto
thedesired cutting level. Pushthehandle outwards to thedesired setting and ensure that it locks into position.
• When cutting grass for thefirst time at thebeginning of theseason, themower should be set to arather
high setting in relation to grass height in order to ensure proper healthy growth of your lawn. Thereafter,
thecutting height can be adjusted according to desire. Remember that shorter cutting lengths will shorten
thebattery life’s mowing time.
5. Maintenance
NOTE: Alwaysdisconnect thesafety key (15) from themower before starting maintenance or servicing.
• Clean themower with abrush or cloth after eachuse.
• Never spray off themower with water to clean it. Doingso may damage themower’s electrical components.
• Tighten all nuts and screws to ensure that themower is in good safe working order.
• Before using make sure to check all electrical equipment. Ifthere is any damage to cables, fittings or
anything else themower must not beused.
• Always use original parts. Non-original parts can present arisk for injury even if they should fit themower.
• Always change any damaged warning and instructional decals.
