Carry out the test operations in the indicated
sequence.
FUNCTIONAL TEST OF THE
PERIMETRIC PROTECTION
Insert a hand through the window
and wave it about on a level with
the headrest of the front seat. If
the sensor is working correctly
the LED will stop flashing while
it detects movement.
Arm the alarm system by pressing
button A on the radio control.
Make sure that there are no
moving objects in the passenger
compartment. Close doors, bonnet
and boot, leaving two windows on
the same side lowered about 10
cm.
Arm the alarm by pressing button
A, then slap the windows with
the palm of your hand. The LED
must remain permanently on (no
false alarms detected).
Disarm the alarm by pressing
button B on the radio control and
close the windows.
Wait for 23 s.
Open a door with the key.
The siren will sound and the turn
indicators will flash.
Close the door.
Swich-off the sirene by the radio
control "B" push button.
Arm the alarm by pressing button
"A" button of the radio control.
The turn indicators will flash twice,
the buzzer will beep twice (if
activated).
The doors will lock.
The LED will flash.
Disarm the alarm by pressing
button "A" on the radio control.
The turn indicators will flash four
times (alarm memory).
The doors will unlock and the LED
will flash, indicating the cause of
alarm.
FUNCTIONAL TEST FOR THE
VOLUMETRIC ULTRASONIC SENSOR
IF INSTALLED
Repeat the test for the other
doors, bonnet and boot.

Carry out the test operations in the
indicated sequence. The test operations
must be carried out within the 23 s
inhibition time after which an alarm
status will be generated (siren and blinker).
