Troubleshoot
Contact your clinician if you have any concerns regarding
the operation or safety of your sound processor.
PROBLEM RESOLUTION
Processor will not
turn on/button
will not respond
1. Try turning the processor on again. See
Turn on and off on page 20.
2. Try unlocking the button. See Lock the
control button on page 19.
3. Change the batteries. See Replace the
battery module on page 8 or Change
disposable batteries on page 10.
4. If you are using a new rechargeable
battery, that has not been charged it may
still be in “Sleep Mode”. See Charge
rechargeable batteries on page 12.
5. If you have two implants, check that you
are wearing the correct sound processor
on each implant.
6. Check the battery contacts are free of dirt
and dust. See Water, sand and dirt on
page 42.
7. If the problem continues, contact your
clinician.
The processor
switches off
1. Ask your clinician if “Auto power off” is
enabled. If it is, then the processor will
switch off after two minutes when not
connected to the implant.
2. Change the batteries. See Replace the
battery module on page 8 or Change
disposable batteries on page 10.
