Introduction
Indications
The Nucleus 8 Sound Processor is indicated for a recipient with
a compatible Cochlear Nucleus implant.
The Nucleus 8 Sound Processor is compatible with the following
Cochlear Nucleus implants:
ꞏ CI600 Series Implants: CI612, CI622, CI624, CI632,
ꞏ CI500 Series Implants: CI512, CI513, CI522, CI532, CI551,
ABI541
ꞏ CI24RE Series Implants: CI422, CI24RE (CA), CI24RE (ST),
CI24RE (CS), CI24REH (Hybrid L24), CI8REH (Hybrid S8),
CI12REH (Hybrid S12)
ꞏ CI24R Series Implants: CI24R (CA), CI24R (CS), CI24R (ST)
ꞏ CI24M Series Implants: CI24M, ABI24M, CI 11+11+2M,
CI24MH (CI6+16+2M)
The Nucleus 8 Sound Processor in the Hybrid conguration,
regardless of associated implant, is indicated for recipients with
a residual hearing at frequencies between 125 Hz and 2 kHz.
The following accessories are indicated for use with the
Nucleus 8 processing unit.
