Your processing unit is protected against failure from dust and
immersion in water at depths of up to 1 metre (IP68 rated) when
you wear it with:
ꞏ A rechargeable battery
module
ꞏ A coil
ꞏ No acoustic component.
If you use a disposable battery module instead of a
rechargeable battery module, or use the processing unit with an
acoustic component worn in the ear, it is protected against
failure from dust and splashing water (IP54 rated).
