4.7 Removal of integral filter
1. Turn off the machine.
2. Place the wash and rinse arms at a right angle to the edge
of the door

).
3. Raise each semi-filter, grasping it by the handle.
4.8 Emptying the machine
4.8.1 Machine without drain pump
¾ Turn off the machine.
¾ Remove the integral filter (
Fig.5
).
¾ Extract the overflow by pulling upwards (
Fig.6 B
), and wait for the tub to drain
completely.
If necessary, extract the tub filter and clean (
Fig.6 C
).
4.8.2 Machine with drain pump
¾ With the machine on (
Fig.7
), press the PROGRAMME SELECTION button (2)
until the
DRAIN CYCLE indicator light (5) comes on.
¾ Remove the integral filter(
Fig.5
).
¾ Extract the overflow (
Fig.6 B
).
¾ Press the START button (3). Machine draining starts and the indicator light flashes.
¾ The machine turns off at the end.
If necessary, extract the tub filter and clean (
Fig.6 C
).
4.9 Resin regeneration
In machines with internal softener (available on request), when the REGENERATION indicator
light
(8) flashes rapidly
(
Fig.8
), you need to run a resin regeneration cycle to restore proper
operation of the internal softener.
Proceed as follows:
• Empty and clean the machine.
• Open the salt container of the tub after removing the integral filter.
• Pour approx. 300 g of regeneration salt into the container (kitchen salt without additives in 1 or
2-mm diameter granules).
• Close the container again firmly.
• Make sure that the overflow has been removed.
• Close the door and turn on the machine.
• Use the PROGRAMME SELECTION key (2) to select the resin regeneration cycle (the
REGENERATION indicator (8) turns green
).
• To start the cycle, press the START button (3) (the REGENERATION light (8) flashes
). The
regeneration cycle starts and continues for about 20 minutes .
• The machine turns off when the cycle ends.
