To set up your remote, rs t install AA batt eries
(sold separa tely). The All Power key will blink
green four tim es as the remote powers up
(abo ut 5 se conds) .

Your remote is prepr ogrammed to operat e XFINITY cable boxes . If you are
using the rem ote for control of a non-XFIN ITY cable box, you may n eed to
program th e remote for the Motoro la or Cisco mode. Follow the st eps below to
program your remote.
Press the Setup but ton until the All Power key
on the remote chan ges from red to green .
Press B for control of a Moto rola brand
cable box; press C for control of a Cisco
or Scienti c-Atlanta brand cable box .
Note: If you nee d to re-program the rem ote
for control of an X FINITY cable box, re peat
the steps abo ve and press A in step 2.
Press the XFINIT Y key to check that your
remote controls y our set-top box. If it doe s,
youre all set . If not, repeat these s teps but
press C for Cisco mode or A fo r XFINITY
mode in step B.
Once the code is cor rectly entered, you r
XFINITY Re mote is paired with the dev ice.

cabinet or entertainment center.
Aim Anywh ere is only supporte d on certain XFINIT Y cable boxes. To see if your
cable box supp orts Aim Anywh ere control visit xn ity.com/remotes
Press the Setup but ton until the All Power key

Press the XFINIT Y button.
Follow the on -screen instruct ion to enter the
3-digit code that a ppears.
Once the code is cor rectly entered, you r
XFINITY Re mote is paired with the dev ice.

and hold th e Setup button on t he remote unti l the
status L ED changes fr om red to green. Press A on
the remote . If the stat us LED blinks green twice,
you have successfully removed Aim Anywhere.

Press and hol d the Setup button (about 3
seconds) until the St atus LED changes from
red to green .
