CHAIN BREAK-IN
Always wear protective gloves before the chain break-in.

Tension adjustment should always be made when the chain is cool. Before connecting
the electric saw to the network, turn the chain manually and lubricate it with additional
oil (see Fig. 10-11). Operate the electric saw for a few minutes checking that the oil
pump is working properly (see Fig. 10-12). Stop the motor and adjust the chain
tension. Start the motor again and make a few small cuts. Stop the electric saw again
and check the chain tension again. Repeat this operation until the chain reaches its
maximum stretch.
Never touch the chain when the motor is running. Disconnect the plug from the
network before any operations on the cutting devices.
