HOW TO REPLACE CHAIN SPROCKET
Chain sprocket is to be replaced when its teeth show deep cuts in the order of a few
mm. Apart from causing turning problems to the chain, an excessive use of the
sprocket would damage it forever.
Remove the sprocket cover and take out both bar and chain.
Block the sprocket with a hex nut wrench (13 mm) (A) and then unscrew the hexagon
nut with a 17 mm-wrench (B) turning clockwise (see Fig. 16).
PLEASE NOTE: The threading is left-handed.
Remove nut and washer, then place the extractor (C) on the sprocket, tighten shaft
screw and extract sprocket.

How to replace chain sprocket
Before fitting a new sprocket clean with compressed air form the end of the
shaft and up to the thread.
Check that the plug of the electric saw is disconnected from the supply
power.
Always wear safety gloves and goggles.
