GUIDE BAR MAINTENANCE
Every 20/30 linear meters, remove the blade in order to clean the chain sliding
channel. Pass a scraper through the blade channel to make sure that any sand or dirt
residues are removed. Remount the blade turned through 180° for uniform wear (see
Fig. 17-16).
If during the cleaning operation, burns or deformations are visible on the bar, grind in
order to restore the correct working conditions (see Fig. 17-16A).
Replace the bar with stellite tip B when worn out following the same procedure for bar
A. Replace the bar with the roller D when the roller diameter is worn out to such an
extent that the chain runs against the fixed part of roller itself (see Fig. 17-17 and 18).

Check that the plug of the electric saw is disconnected from the supply
power.
Always wear safety gloves and goggles.
