TROUBLESHOOTING
FAULT CAUSE REMEDY
The pump does not run
when the switch is pressed.
e plug is damaged. Check the plug and fuses to see if they are okay.
ere is insucient voltage. Check the voltage.
e pump is locked. Manually turn over the motor.
e thermal relay has triggered. Let the motor cool down.
e pump runs, however no
pressure is generated.
e intake lter is clogged. Clean the lter.
Air is being drawn in at the connectors. Check the intake connection fitting and the hose
connectors.
e inlet and outlet valves are clogged
or worn.
Clean or replace
e diameter of the nozzle hole is too large. Check and replace.
The operating pressure is
irregular.
Air is being drawn in. Check the intake connectors.
e valves are clogged and worn. Clean and replace.
e seals are worn. Check and replace.
e motor did not stop completely when
previously letting go of the gun trigger.
Wait for the motor to stop completely before pressing
the trigger again.
e motor suddenly stops. e thermal relay has triggered due to
overheating.
Check the voltage.
Turn o the switch and let the motor cool down for
a few minutes.
e pump drips. e seals are worn. Check and replace (professional repair shop).
ere is a loss of pressure. e nozzle is worn. Change the nozzle.
e valves are dirty or clogged. Check, clean, exchange.
e valve seals are worn. Check and /or exchange.
e seals are worn. Check and /or exchange.
e lter is clogged. Check and /or clean
ere is excess noise. Air is being drawn in. Check intake lines.
e valves are worn, dirty or clogged. Check, clean, exchange.
e bearings are worn. Check and /or exchange.
e water temperature is too high. Lower the temperature to below 50 °C.
e lter is dirty. Check and /or exchange.
Expelled water is mixed
with oil.
e sealing rings (water + oil) are worn. Check and /or exchange.
Water leaks from the pump
head
e seals are worn. Exchange the seal.
e O-ring of the seal set is worn Exchange the O-ring.
When the switch is pressed,
the motor hums but does
not start.
The mains voltage is lower than that
specied.
Check the voltage.
e pump is blocked or frozen. Check the pump.
e extension cable is insucient (cross
section too small, cable too long).
Check to see that the extension cable is sucient.
Exchange the extension cable for one that is sucient.
