FOLDING THE FOOTREST STEP
The footrest step should always be folded when the user wants to get into or out of the stroller.
To do this, the footrest step must be pulled upwards, which will
rotate it 90° and set it in an upright position.
In order to lower the step, push it down with your hand until it stops
in a horizontal position – see Figure 2.
In strollers size [1] the footrest step is not foldable.
INSTALLATION OF THE ABDUCTION WEDGE
The abduction wedge is attached to the seat of the stroller. It protects the patient from slipping out
of the stroller and prevents spastic reflexes of crossing the legs.
Method of fastening:
1. In the abduction wedge , unscrew the butterfly nut and remove the washer from the metal pin.
2. Push the pin into the hole from the top of the seat plate so that it passes through the hole.
3. From the bottom of the seat on the pin put the washer and tightly (to the resistance) tighten
the butterfly nut.
Remark:
• the bent fragment of the washer must cover the rod under the seat.
• Too poorly tightened nut can cause damage to the seat or not fulfill its task ( an abduction
wedge loosely mounted may rotate or damage the seat plate).
