7.12 Replace Cooling Fan
The cooling fan ventilates the dehydrator
enclosure thus cooling the compressor and the
heat exchanger. Failure of a fan can result in
saturation of the membrane dryer and damage
to the compressor.
To remove the fan, disconnect the fan leads
and remove the mounting hardware. Install the
replacement fan using the existing hardware.
Orientation of the ac power leads is not critical.
7.13 Replace Alarm Board
With the front door open on the dehydrator,
disconnect the wiring from the alarm board,
carefully noting the location of each connector.
Remove the hardware which secures the alarm
board to the door panel. Install the replacement
alarm board by reversing the above process.
7.14 Replace Pressure Switch.
With the front door open on the dehydrator
disconnect the wiring from the pressure switch,
carefully noting the location of each lead.
Remove the hardware that secure the the switch
to the panel. Install the replacement switch by
reversing the above procedure.
