Install ComNet Software Utilities
Following the steps below to install all the utilities from the CD comes with the contact over
Ethernet module.
Install the com2com
Com0com is an open source virtual serial port driver for Windows. Once installed it will configure
one or more pairs of virtual COM ports each time Windows starts.
» Insert the ComNet Contact over Ethernet module Documentation and Software CD into the
CD-ROM drive of your computer. Use Windows Explorer or other browser to open directory
com0com-2.2.1.0\. Double click on the file setup. This will start the installation process with the
following dialog.

» Click Next.
