CAUTION! Only use the machine for its
intended purpose. This machine is designed
for non-continuous operation: use it as
described in these instructions and as
shown in the specications.
Wear goggles to protect your eyes from splinters.
Only use tools that are appropriate for the type
of material to be processed.
Make sure that the material to be processed does
not contain other material which can compromise
the integrity of the tool.
The operator must be in full possession of his
mental and physical abilities in order to use this
machine.
The operator must always assess the stability of
the part before and after processing.
Processes that affect the stability of the part
must not be carried out without taking any safety
measures.
Always keep the workplace tidy. An untidy work-
place may cause accidents.
The operator must not be distracted during
processing activities. A distraction may cause an
accident. Pay attention to what you are doing,
proceed carefully. Stop working if you are tired.
Do not overload the tool.
For operator safety, always use the tools or ac-
cessories mentioned in the operating instructions
and listed in the relevant catalogues. Using other
accessories, expendable tools or in any case not
recommended in the operating instructions or
catalogue, can cause accidents.
2.5 Warnings for proper product
maintenance
All maintenance operations must be performed
when the machine is not connected to the
electrical mains and to any other power source
(pneumatic power).
All maintenance operations not described in this
manual must be performed by staff authorised
by the manufacturer.
CAUTION! It is forbidden for the user to
perform any maintenance work not covered
in this manual. The manufacturer considers
these operations complex and may com-
promise the integrity of the machine and as
a result the operator’s safety if not per-
formed by product specialists.
Use as spare parts only and exclusively
original materials purchased from resellers
authorized by the manufacturer.
For maintenance, strictly respect the timetable
provided by the manufacturer.
The maintenance operations described in the
manual must be performed by trained person-
nel. It is a necessary condition for the proper
implementation of the information contained in
this manual.
CAUTION! Only use tools in perfect work-
ing order and that fulll strictly the maxi-
mum size imposed by the manufacturer.
CAUTION! Excessively worn or damaged
tools can release splinters that can lead to
serious injury to the operator or the staff
nearby.
CAUTION! The maintenance of the tools
must be carried out by expert personnel,
with the use of appropriate machines.
The tools must be carefully kept and their features
must always be identiable.
Electrical cables with unsteady connections or with
guards even slightly abraded or damaged must be
replaced immediately.
Before carrying out repairs and tool change always
pull the plug from the socket.
Store tools in a dry and safe place; make sure
they are not accessible to unauthorized persons.
Keep non-experts away from the workplace.
Do not lift the machine by the cable and do not use
the cable to pull the plug from the socket. Protect
the cable from high temperatures, oils and sharp
edges.
2.6 Electric safety warnings
ATTENTION! DO NOT TOUCH LIVE PARTS Electric
shock hazard. Some parts of the machine are
live.
KEEP CHILDREN AND ANIMALS AWAY FROM
ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES. Children and animals
must be kept away from the appliances connect-
ed to the electrical mains.
CHECK THE SUPPLY VOLTAGE. The supply voltage
must correspond to that stated on the technical
data plate. Do not use any other type of power
supply.
ATTENTION! IT IS MANDATORY TO USE A RESIDU-
AL CURRENT DEVICE. Electric shock hazard. Using
water with the machine powered electrically in-
creases the risk of an electric shock which can even
be fatal. For your safety, it is mandatory to install
a residual-current device or RCD on the power line
according to the regulations in the country of use;
ask your electrician.
