ENERGY SAVING TIPS
Choose a well ventilated installation location
which is protected from direct sunlight and
allows air to circulate around the cabinet.
Allow hot food to cool down first before you
place it into the cabinet.
Do not open or leave the lid open more often
than necessary.
If ice forms on the internal walls or lid defrost
the cooler.
Select the desired cabinet temperature in
relation to the intended use, avoid setting
unnecessarily low temperatures.
EMERGENCY OVERRIDE
The emergency override is located on the power
input panel - For normal operation the switch is
in the “NORMAL USE” position.
In the event of an electronic control failure, slide
the switch to “EMERGENCY OVERRIDE” position.
If the switch is in the “EMERGENCY OVERRIDE”
position, the cooling system runs to its maximum
settings providing full cooling capacity.
Depending on the operating conditions this may
result in the compartment reaching its maximum
temperature level of -18 degrees Celsius.
BATTERY MONITOR
The device is equipped with a multi-level battery
monitor that protects your vehicle battery
against excessive discharging when the Fridge/
Freezer is connected to 12/24 V supply.
If the Fridge/Freezer is operated when the vehicle
ignition is switched off, the Fridge/Freezer
switches off automatically as soon as the supply
voltage falls below a set level.
The Fridge/Freezer will switch back on once
the battery has been recharged to the cut in
voltage level.
SETTING THE BATTERY MONITOR
Press and hold for 3 seconds until the
display flashes then press again to display
the current setting (Lo / Med / Hi).
Press
or to change the setting,
the new setting will flash for 3 seconds then
return to the actual cabinet temperature.
