System Board Jumpers
This section provides information for setting DIP switches to
enable/disable passwords and setting jumpers to clear the
configuration (CMOS). Setting the system board jumpers are
part of the reconfiguration process, along with running the
Computer Setup utility. If the system configuration is incorrect,
your computer may not work properly and you may receive
error messages on the screen.

To change DIP switch and jumper settings, you must
remove the computer cover. For procedures on removing
the computer cover, refer to Chapter 4, “Upgrading the
Desktop Computer.”
