DVD drive read test failed The following steps apply to error codes
3301-xx through 3305-xx and 66XX-xx:
1. Replace the DVD drive and retest.*
2. Check the jumper settings on the DVD
drive.
3. Check and/or replace the power and signal
cables and retest.
4. Ensure no DVD disk is inserted when
running the CD Drive tests. This will result in
a 66xx error. This is a test issue, not a CD
drive issue .
* Boot to DOS (Command Prompt only) or Windows (Not Safe Mode). Press the DVD drive
eject button (located on the front bezel) to eject the CD and retest.
