BASIC FUNCTIONS
USING THE ZOOM FEATURE
The camera has a 3x optical zoom lens with an effective zoom range 5.9 mm to 17.17 mm (equivalent
to 35 mm to 103 mm in 35 mm film format) as well as 4x digital zoom capability.
Telephoto / Wide Angle
1. Press T to zoom in for a telephoto shot.
2. Press W to zoom out for a wide angle shot.
USING THE DIGITAL ZOOM
1. Turn the LCD on by pressing the DISP button.
2. Press and hold the T button until the maximum optical is reached. The LCD will show “x1.0” zoom
indicator.
3. Release the T button and press it again to further zoom in the image digitally. The zoom indicator
shows the current approximate zoom factor. The maximum digital zoom is “x4.0”.
4. Press the W button to zoom out.
