Touch Screen Control Panel
Symptoms: Touchscreen panel non-responsive
Tools Required: T6 Torx Screwdriver
Prerequisites
Switch power off.
1. Lift the LCD Touch Screen up,
and remove the 4 corner (T6)
screws.
2. Separate the Touch Screen
display from the rear cover.
3. On opening, the touchscreen
flat cable has become loose
from the connector, so is either
not in the connector, or can be
pulled out very easily without
opening the connector.
4. Gently lift the locking plate of
the connector. Using your
fingernail should be sufficient for
this, as using a screwdriver
could damage the tiny
connector.
