CONNECTING TO THE POWER ADAPTER
WITHOUT A MECHANICAL DOORBELL CHIME
Caution! Disconnect power to the doorbell transformer or power off the circuit at the circuit
breaker before starting.

If you do not want to use the mechanical chime (or if you only have a digital doorbell chime),
you can skip installing the chime adapter and bypass the wiring at the mechanical chime, or
wire the VDB directly to the doorbell transformer.
