(1) Detaching and refitting the developing unit
Follow the procedure below to replace the developing unit.
Procedure
1. Remove the drum unit (see page 1-5-41).
2. While lifting the developing unit a little,
remove the unit from the machine.
3. Replace the developing unit and refit all the
removed parts.
4. Perform maintenance mode U130 (initial
setting for the developing unit) (see page 1-
3-36).
5. Perform maintenance mode U157 (clearing
the developing drive time) (see page 1-3-
38).
