Performing drum refresh operation
Description
Executes drum refresh operation.
Purpose
To operate when a faulty image (black line, etc.) occurs.
Method
1. Set A3/11" x 17" paper on drawer 2.
2. Press the start key. The screen for executing is displayed.
3. Press the start key. Drum refresh operation starts.
4. To stop the operation, press the stop/clear key.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key when the operation stops. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is dis-
played.

Description
Displays the drum number.
Purpose
To check the drum number.
Method
Press the start key. The drum number is displayed.

Displaying the drum history
Description
Displays the past record of machine number and the drum counter.
Purpose
To check the count value of machine number and the drum counter.
Method
1. Press the start key. The count value of machine number and the drum counter is displayed.
2. Change the screen using the left/right cursor keys. Past record of 5 cases is displayed.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

Initial setting for the developer
Description
Replenishes toner to the developer unit to a certain level from the toner container that has been installed.
Purpose
To operate when installing the machine.
Method
1. Press the start key. The screen for executing is displayed.
2. Select the EXECUTE using the up/down cursor keys.
3. Press the start key. Installation of toner starts and time (minutes) is indicated until the installation ends.
4. When the installation is complete, FINISHED will be displayed if the installation is successful or NG will
be displayed if it has failed. If NG is displayed, check to see if the toner container contains toner and to
see if the toner container sensor malfunctions and then try again.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key after operation is complete. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is dis-
played.
