9. Commissioning YHC 700
9. Commissioning
During commissioning, the device is configured and checked for proper operation and
integrated into the supervision/Remote management software.
NOTE: before commissioning the YHC device, it is recommended to update its software as
described in chapter 7.
9.1 Commissioning a control system (YHC)
Commissioning in this case involves the following steps:
1. Field devices commissioning
2. YHC configuration
3. Configuration of the YLCs units in the software used for remotely supervise/manage
the system
9.1.1 Field devices commissioning
The devices are installed according to the instructions provided in each device data sheet; for
the YHC you need to connect the RS485 port #1 to the RS485 bus of the YLCs.
9.1.2 YHC Configuration
Configure YHC as described in chapter 7.
9.1.3 YLCs configuration on the software for remote
management
Control systems can be:
remotely managed with ClimaOffice
remotely supervised by any software capable of:
sending ModBus commands to acquire data from the YLC in field
managing data sent by YHC via HTTP/HTTPs
In this document we will refer to ClimaOffice as the Coster Group solution for the remote
management of control systems made with YHC.
To configure the YLCs from ClimaOffice, load the relevant application mimic panels in
ClimaOffice and create the corresponding installation, making sure you specify the following
configuration parameters:
Controller connection → TCP/IP connection (GPRS or Ethernet network)
Target IP address → IP address of the YHC 700 (if the controller is connected to the
RS485 bus) or IP address of the controller (if the controller is connected to STE000)
Controller access code: Modbus slave address of the controller
WARNING: the addresses entered for each YLC must be the same entered during the
configuration phase of YHC700 (chapter 7.2.1).
NOTE: ClimaOffice accesses the controllers using the default Modbus RTU protocol. Should
the controllers be configured to use Modbus TCP, it is necessary to modify the field
"Controller access code", following the slave address with the string “/TCP”.
