Safety
• Never use theproduct if themains lead, plug or any other part is damaged or does not
work properly.
• Theproduct must only be connected to astandard domestic 220–240V, 50Hz
electrical supply.
• Make sure that thewall socket that is used is easily accessible, since this is theonly way to
completely disconnect it from theelectrical system.
• Never attempt to repair or modify theproduct in any way.
• Never use theproduct if it does not work properly or if thehousing, mains lead or plug is
damaged in any way.
• Theproduct is only intended for indoor use in adry, clean environment. Never position
theproduct in such away that it might fall into water or other liquid.
• Never position theproduct in such away that it comes into contact with hot surfaces.
• Always unplug theproduct from thepower point when it is not in use.
• Never lay themains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges or corners.
• Theproduct is only intended for personal domestic use and only in themanner described in
this instruction manual.
• Never poke your fingers or foreign objects through thegrille while thefan is operating.
• Never leave children unsupervised in thevicinity of theproduct.
• Never turn theproduct off by pulling theplug out of thewall socket. Turn off theproduct
using thepower button and then unplug it from thewall socket.
• Never use theproduct in areas where explosive gases or substances are stored.
• If themains lead is damaged in any way it must be replaced by aqualified electrician.
• Theproduct may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and knowledge provided they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of theproduct in asafe way and
understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
