Why CountyLine CLSS5 does not deliver water to full capacity?
    • S
      samanthamasonAug 2, 2025
If your CountyLine Water Pump isn't delivering water to its full capacity, it could be due to several reasons: * The depth of the water being pumped is greater than estimated: If the water being pumped is more than 25’ (7.6m) deep, a deep well jet may be needed. * Corroded or limed steel piping: Replace steel piping with plastic pipe where possible, or use new steel pipe. * Incorrect piping size: Re-pipe using the size of the suction and discharge ports on the pump. * Insufficient water supply: Add additional well points if the pump is not getting enough water.

What to do if CountyLine Water Pump motor runs but no water is delivered?
    • M
      Megan LaneOct 24, 2025
If the CountyLine Water Pump motor runs, but no water comes out, several issues could be the cause: * Improper priming: Re-prime the pump following the instructions. * Air leaks: Check all connections on the suction line using shaving cream. * Leaking foot valve: Replace the foot valve. * Incorrect pipe size: Re-pipe using the correct size for the suction and discharge ports on the pump. * Low water level: Lower the suction line into the water and re-prime. Note: If the receding water level in the well exceeds 25’ (7.6m), a deep well pump is needed. * Plugged impeller: Clean the impeller. * Stuck foot valve: Replace the foot valve. * Frozen pipes: Thaw the pipes. * Foot valve/strainer obstruction: Raise the foot valve and/or strainer above the bottom of the water source ...
