What to do if CountyLine CLLS115 Water Pump motor will not run?
    • J
      Jeffrey FosterAug 3, 2025
If your CountyLine Water Pump motor isn't running, here's what you can check: * Ensure the disconnect switch is turned on. * Inspect the fuse and replace it if it's blown, or reset the circuit breaker if it has tripped. * If the starting switch is defective, disconnect the power and replace the switch. * Inspect the wires at the motor. Refer to the wiring instructions and ensure all wires are correctly connected and tightened. Remember to disconnect power before checking the wiring.

Why CountyLine CLLS115 does not deliver water to full capacity?
    • J
      Jason PittsAug 15, 2025
If your CountyLine Water Pump isn't delivering water to its full capacity, it could be due to several reasons: * The water level in the well might be lower than estimated. If the depth to water is more than 20 feet, a deep well jet will be needed. * If steel piping is used, it might be corroded or limed, causing excess friction. Replace it with plastic pipe where possible, otherwise use new steel pipe. * The piping might be too small in size. Re-pipe using the size of the suction and discharge ports on the pump. * The pump might not be supplied with enough water. Add additional well points.

How to fix CountyLine CLLS115 motor runs hot?
    • D
      Danielle JenkinsAug 20, 2025
If the CountyLine Water Pump motor runs hot and the overload kicks off, or if the motor doesn't run and only hums, it could be due to: the motor being wired incorrectly (refer to wiring instructions) or the voltage being too low (check the voltage being supplied to the motor and install heavier wiring if the wire size is too small, referring to the Wiring Chart).

Why CountyLine CLLS115 Water Pump motor runs but no water is delivered?
    • K
      Kenneth DrakeNov 8, 2025
If the CountyLine Water Pump motor runs but no water is delivered, consider the following possibilities: * The pump might not be properly primed. Re-prime it according to the instructions. * There may be air leaks. Check all connections on the suction line using shaving cream. * The foot valve or check valve could be leaking. If so, replace the valve. * The pipe size might be too small. Re-pipe using the size of the suction and discharge ports on the pump. * The water level might be below the suction pipe inlet. Lower the suction line into the water and re-prime. Note: If the receding water level in the well exceeds 20 feet, a deep well pump is needed. * The impeller could be plugged. Clean the impeller. * The check valve or foot valve might be stuck shut. Replace the valve....
