What causes yellow burner flame in COZY Furnace?
    • M
      Miss Shelia AdamsSep 4, 2025
A yellow burner flame in your COZY Furnace can be caused by clogged burner ports (remove the main burner and check for obstructions in the throat, ports, and orifices; clean, but do not enlarge ports or orifices) or an obstruction around the vent cap (make sure the area around the vent cap is clear, and be sure the vent system is sealed).

How to correct incorrect gas input in COZY CDV155C Wall Furnaces?
    • J
      Jacob TorresSep 18, 2025
To correct incorrect gas input, first re-check the gas input. If the orifice is clogged, clean it with a smooth wood toothpick, being careful not to enlarge it.

What to do if my COZY CDV155C is producing too much heat?
    • L
      Leslie MontgomerySep 16, 2025
If your furnace is producing too much heat, the thermostat may be set too high. Try lowering the temperature setting. Another possible cause is a combination control valve stuck open, which would require replacing the combination control valve.

Why is the flame too large in my COZY CDV155C?
    • B
      Brian WarrenSep 15, 2025
A flame that is too large can be attributed to several factors: a defective operator section of the valve, in which case you should replace the valve; a burner orifice that is too large, so check with your local gas company for the proper orifice size and replace it if necessary; or if the unit is installed above 2,000 ft., refer to the burner orifice section on Page 13.

How to fix delayed ignition in COZY CDV155C Wall Furnaces?
    • A
      Adam JacksonSep 13, 2025
Delayed ignition can occur for several reasons. The pilot flame might be too small, so adjust it. Burner ports may be clogged at the pilot, requiring cleaning (do not enlarge them). Low gas pressure could be the cause; check the gas supply pressure. If the pilot decreases in size when the main burners come on, the supply piping is too small, and you should consult your local gas company or a competent installer.

What to do if my COZY CDV155C pilot and main burner go out during normal operation?
    • J
      jacqueline78Sep 12, 2025
If the pilot and main burner go out during normal operation, it could be due to a few reasons. Check for a weak powerpile or thermocouple; test the millivoltage and replace if it's low. The input might be too high, so check the input rate. The cover around the pilot lighter hole might not be airtight; tighten the wing nuts securing the cover and sight glass, and check/replace the gasket if needed. Also, vent tubes might not be properly installed or sealed; follow the instructions to check both exhaust and air intake tubes and the vent cap, ensuring all gaskets are in place and properly sealed, and using only the supplied tubes and vent cap without alterations. Finally, incorrect vent tubes could be the issue; replace them with the correct ones.

      Julia FordSep 9, 2025
A yellow burner flame may be caused by clogged burner ports. Remove the main burner and check for obstructions in the throat, ports, and orifices. Clean them, but do not enlarge the ports or orifices. Another cause may be an obstruction around the vent cap. Ensure the area around the vent cap is clear and that the vent system is sealed.

What to do if my COZY Wall Furnaces is not producing enough heat?
    • J
      Jordan ParsonsSep 7, 2025
If your furnace isn't producing enough heat, there are a few potential causes. First, the furnace might be undersized for the space. Second, the thermostat may be set too low. Try raising the temperature setting. Finally, there could be incorrect supply pressure, which needs to be checked.

    • E
      Eric StaffordSep 6, 2025
If your COZY Furnace is producing too much heat, it might be because the thermostat is set too high (lower the temperature setting) or the combination control valve is stuck open (replace the combination control valve).

What to do if my COZY Furnace won't ignite?
    • J
      Jenna ColonAug 21, 2025
If your COZY Furnace fails to ignite, possible causes include the main gas being off (open all manual gas valves), the thermostat not being set high enough (set it to a higher temperature), a clogged burner orifice (clean it, but do not enlarge it), incorrect or defective thermostat wiring (check the wiring, jump across the thermostat terminals at the valve; if the valve opens, re-check the wires and replace the thermostat if needed), or a defective valve (replace the valve).
